Current versions (in force)
International agreements, laws, regulations, and public notices form the legal basis for our work and dictate how we act and make decisions.
Based on these legal foundations, guidelines for the examination of patent and utility model applications have been issued.
The European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO) works with national offices, such as the Austrian Patent Office, as well as with user associations, to harmonize examination practices and standards. You can find the results of this collaboration and the resulting common practices in the joint notices of the EUIPN.
